Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee serves children, ages 6 to 17, in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties through two types of mentoring, community-based and site-based.

Because the need is so great, we currently have more than 1,000 children, most of whom are boys, waiting for a mentor. We are always striving to serve more children, but many children, particularly boys, may wait a considerable amount of time until we can find them the right Big Brother or Sister.

We are currently seeking:

• Girls aged 6-16, especially in Waukesha County
• Children aged 6-16 with an incarcerated parent or caregiver
