Jeff helped De'Angelo prepare for a successful life after high school.

Big Brother Jeff and Little Brother De'Angelo have a great time together, working out, going to ball games or just hanging out, but Jeff's positive influence extends far beyond their fun sports activities. Jeff is helping De'Angelo discover new possibilities and prepare for a bright future.

De'Angelo is only a high school sophomore, but graduation is definitely on his mind. Since being matched with Jeff, he has given more thought to his future after high school. The two talk about college, as well as other options, such as De'Angelo pursuing a trade. Last year, Jeff guided De'Angelo through the process of applying and interviewing for part-time jobs, helping De'Angelo secure a summer job.

During one of their regular check-ins, Jeff and De'Angelo's Match Support Specialist, Alison, asked De'Angelo how Jeff has helped him. "He makes my dreams come true," responded De'Angelo matter-of-factly.

Although De'Angelo will soon turn 18 and age out of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, he and Jeff plan to stay connected. Jeff will be there to support De'Angelo as he moves forward to achieve the dreams that his Big Brother helped instill.
