Have Fun. Make a Difference.
Volunteer as a Big Brother or Big Sister.
Spend time with a kid 3-4 times a month.
Just be yourself and be a friend. Share the things you enjoy doing. That's all it takes to be a Big Brother or Big Sister.
(You must be at least 18 years old to be a Big.)
Share fun, simple activities on a consistent basis.
Here are just a few of the things you could do with your "Little:"
- Toss a ball or ride bikes.
- Bake cookies.
- Do a puzzle or play a board game.
- Take your Little to his first baseball game.
- Go sledding or build a snow fort.
- Help your Little prepare for a big test.
- Share a pizza and talk about sports or music.
We offer two volunteer options:
- Community-based Mentoring - Flexible scheduling and a perfect fit for anyone who likes lots of options.
