Explore Your Community The Community-based Program offers flexible scheduling, a perfect fit for anyone who likes lots of options. Shoot hoops on Tuesday or see a Saturday matinee—you and your Little Brother or Sister decide what to do and when to meet. You’ll be matched to a child, aged 6–18, after the completion of an interview and background checks, all designed to help match you with a child that best connects to your personality and interests. Once accepted, you will be introduced to your “Little.” Three to four times a month you'll pick up your Little for outings, enjoying everyday activities together. This frequency helps your Little feel important and builds trust. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring sets the gold standard in creating positive growth—and it all starts with consistent friendship.
